Boyd L. Harris, ALC was raised on a grain and livestock farm in Monroe County, MO, which he still operates. He graduated from Centralia High School in 1982 and attended Northeast Missouri State University for one year, and then returned to the farm. He began his real estate career in 1985, as a sales agent and auctioneer.
In 1991, he obtained his General Certified real Estate Appraisee credentials and began a career in rural property valuation, focused on grain and livestock farms with an emphasis on large-scale livestock operations, grain facilities, and rural commercial properties.
In 2015 he obtained the Accredited land Consultant designation from the Realtors Land Institute. He served eight years on the Commission, and over 20 years as a Secretary for the Missouri Chapter of the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers. During that time, he has mentored, trained, and obtained certification for over a dozen new appraisers. Boyd has sold numerous farms across Missouri over the past three decades, at both negotiated sales and auctions. He is well-versed with multi-parcel real estate auctions, maximizing their use for the benefit of seller and buyer.
